Oven management

The oven settings given are only approximate, as different makes of cookers vary.

Study the chart supplied with your cooker, particularly regarding the positioning of dishes within the oven.

Always open and close the oven door gently and remember to leave at least 2 cm (1 inch) around baking sheets and tins so the heat has room to circulate.
